stop waiting
One day, you'll realize you didn't need more time. One day, you'll realize you didn't need more time. You just needed to stop waiting. You'll count up all the years you spent believing you weren't ready yet—not enough saved, not enough experience, not enough certainty—and you'll do the math on how much of your life you handed over to a "someday" that never had a start date attached to it. You'll realize that time was never actually the missing ingredient; you had plenty of it, more than you'll ever get back. What you were missing was the willingness to start messily, imperfectly, before you felt qualified. You'll think about how life simply doesn't pause to let you finish preparing—it moves whether you step forward or not—and something in you will finally stop asking for more runway and just take off.
